Term Dates:

Term 1 2025: Monday February 3 to Saturday April 12

Term 2: Monday 28 April to Saturday July 5

Term 3: Monday July 21 to Saturday September 27

Term 4: Monday October 13 to Saturday December 6

End of Year concert is held in November. Not compulsory, however students are encouraged to participate. It’s so much fun!

School Rules

1. Punctuality is essential; late attendance is highly disruptive to the teacher and other class members.
2. Dance students must be correctly attired, with neat hair and no jewelry or watches.
3. Put your name on all dance belongings.
4. Do not wear dance shoes outside. This will keep your shoes clean and in good condition.
5. Gum is strictly forbidden in all dance classes.
6. Drinking water is only allowed in dance classes.
7. Observers are permitted only at the discretion of the instructor.
8. No video cameras are allowed in class without advance permission from the studio and fellow parents.
9. All classes, spaces, and events are a “nut free” environment.
10. Comments and complaints are to be sent in writing directly to Body 2 Star.
11. Behaviour issues will be documented and parents/caregivers will be notified. We reserve the right to remove those who disrupt our classes, without refund or credit.

Dance Attire & Hair

Jazz/Hip hop/Tap
Jazz pants, shorts or tights may be worn with any coloured leotard or B2S dance tshirt, Bloch black elastic booties to be worn for jazz and sneakers for hip hop classes (Boys and Girls), Bloch camel tap shoes (girls) and bloch black tap shoes (boys) for tap classes.
Hair must be off the face and neatly styled. No jewelry or watches.

Contemporary & Acro
Leotard- any colour with optional matching chiffon skirt, B2S tshirt and dance shorts or leggings may be worn, bare feet- no shoes required. Hair must be off the face and neatly styled. No jewelry or watches.

Classical Ballet
Leotard- any style with chiffon skirt (optional), crossovers may be worn, no jumpers/windcheaters are to be worn in class, FIESTA pink seamless tights must be worn, BLOCH prolite full or split sole ballet shoes with elastics (girls), black ballet shoes (boys) hair must be worn in a neat bun with no fringes to every class, no jewelry or watches.

Boys– comfortable attire and shoes suitable for style of dance class attending.
